Dear ClickFunnels Family,
It’s with great sadness to inform you of the passing of our CEO, Dave Woodward. He passed away today, December 6th, after his 18 month battle with cancer.
Dave joined our team early in 2015, shortly after ClickFunnels had launched. He went from helping us at the booth at T&C, to running the affiliate program, eventually running business development, becoming the "CRO" and finally becoming the CEO.
Along his journey, he used to always say that ClickFunnels wasn't just a company, but that he felt it was being guided by God. He then worked to help our platform to change the lives of our customers. Under his leadership we watched the company grow to over 100,000 active members.
Two years ago, while deciding if we should create ClickFunnels 2.0, Dave was an integral part in the planning process. He helped to restructure the company so we could focus on creating the new platform, and was its biggest advocate. He knew that launching 2.0 would not only change our lives, but it had the potential to actually change the world.
Our company would not be where it is today without Dave. The future of our company wasn't possible without Dave's involvement. We are forever grateful and indebted to this man.
His biggest hope, while he was going through cancer, was that this journey would bring other people closer to Christ. During this time, we ask you to keep his family in your prayers as they go through this difficult time.
